Internal Quality Assurance Cell
Established in 2004, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a powerful recommending body of the college, actively involved in the quality sustenance of the college. Its constitution and functioning are, as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It conducts periodical meetings with its members and staff for the effective implementation of qualitative initiatives to achieve and sustain excellence in all Academic and Administrative Activities of the College.
Functions of the IQAC
• Development and Sustenance of Quality Culture in the College
• Acts as a Nodal Agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities
• Disseminating information regarding various Quality Parameters to its stakeholders
• Organizing programmes/activities leading to Quality Improvement and Quality Sustenance
• Collection and Analysis of Feedback from Students, Alumni and Staff and implementation of initiatives and corrective actions.
• Soliciting Feedback from Parents, Employers/Industrialists to further strengthen the curriculum.
• Coordinating the conduct of Internal and External Academic Audit
• Preparation and Submission of Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per the guidelines of NAAC
