The Department of Library and Information Science, Islamiah College (Autonomous), organized a One-Day Seminar titled Career Building with Library on 23rd December 2024. The Seminar focused on the various books and resources available in the College Library that could aid students in preparing for employment opportunities and building successful careers.

The Seminar commenced with a word of prayer by Prof.Zainullah, Assistant Professor of History
Thamilthai Vazhthu by the Dr.Mujibur Rahman and his team.
Introductory remarks by Dr. Mujibur Rahman, Associate Professor of Tamil, who compeered the event.
Dr.N.Abdul Latheef, Librarian & Convener of the programme welcomed the gathering.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. T. Afsar Basha, Principal of Islamiah College (Autonomous). In his address, he highlighted the importance of utilizing library resources effectively for career development. He also discussed the variety of employment-oriented books, journals, and e-resources available in the library and emphasized their role in enhancing the employability skills of students.
