DENGUE AWARENESS PROGRAMME
On 30th September 2024, a Dengue Awareness Programme was organized to educate students and the local community about the prevention and control of dengue fever. The event included a rally and a human chain to emphasize the importance of awareness and collective action.
RALLY AND HUMAN CHAIN
Following the seminar, participants organized a rally and formed a human chain in key areas of Vaniyambadi to spread awareness about dengue prevention. The rally featured banners and posters, and volunteers engaged with community members to educate them about the signs and symptoms of dengue, as well as preventive measures.
The Dengue Awareness Programme was a significant initiative aimed at fostering awareness and promoting community health. Through informative sessions and active participation, the programme successfully highlighted the importance of collective action in preventing dengue fever. The NSS unit, along with the support of local authorities, is committed to continuing such initiatives for the betterment of public health.
