                        “Exploring Cloud Computing – A Hands-on Workshop using AWS Cloud” 
       
  The Department of Computer Science, Islamiah College(Autonomous), Vaniyambadi, organized One Day workshop on “Exploring Cloud Computing – A Hands-on Workshop using AWS Cloud” on 06-02-2025. The objective of this workshop is to create awareness about AWS to the students and to update their knowledge. The workshop began at 10 am with Qirath followed by Tamil Thai Vazhthu. Mr. A. A. Khader Maideen, Head of the Department welcomed the gathering. Dr. T. Afsar Basha, Principal delivered Presidential Address and Vice Principals Dr. Tahir Hussainy (Administration) & Dr. S. Shaikh Khader Nawaz (Academic) delivered Key Note Address. Dr. Salman Ayaz. A, Asst. Professor of Computer Science introduced the resource person Mr. Afzal Bijli FHM, Assistant Professor, MEASI Institute of Information Technology, Chennai. The work shop was conducted in two sessions. It was attended by 120 student participants. 

Cloud Fundamentals, IAM and AWS Website Development topics  were covered in the morning session. Running Python and Java Programs on the Cloud was the topic of the afternoon presentation. Both the sessions were interactive and Hands-on. Mr. S. Mohammed Nawaz Basha, Asst. Professor of Computer Science delivered the Valedictory Address. Mr. Fardeen Khan of III B.Sc., (CS) proposed the formal Vote of Thanks. At the end of the session all the student participants were provided with e-Certificates.
