An outreach programme on Biology Class for Higher Secondary School students was organized at Government Municipal Model Higher Secondary School, Gandhinagar, Vaniyambadi on 01.04.2022 for the Higher Secondary students. A total of 74 students (16 boys and 58 Girls) of XI – A and XI – B attended and got benefitted. Dr. N. Shabeer Ahmed, Programme organizer gave a brief note about the programme and addressed the students on the scope of Biology course in higher studies in a classy way. Dr. S. U. Mohammed Riyaz, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology taught the structure of DNA and RNA in lucid style. Mr. S. Zakirullah, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology eloquently explained the outcomes of Biology to the students. They made the topic exciting and easy by using models. The Headmaster thanked and appreciated the Department of Biotechnology and the co-ordinator of the programme the efforts in organizing the programme for the benefit of the rural students.
