National Mathematics Day Celebration - 23.12.2018

The Department of Mathematics celebrated the Mathematics Day on 23.12.2018 in commemoration of the Indian Mathematical Genius Srinivasa Ramanujan’s birth day, which was on 22 December 1887. It was in recognition of his contribution to mathematics. The Government of India decided to celebrate Ramanujan's birthday as the National Mathematics Day every year.
