The History Association Inaugural function 2018 was organised on 24 September 2018 in Seminar Hall at 10.30a.m. Dr. Major Syed Shahabuddeen, Director, Non Formal Education, Vaniyambadi Muslim Educational Society as Guest of Honour of the programme addressed the students regarding the “Significance of History”. Kombai. S. Anwar, Writer, Film Maker & Historian as the Chief Guest addressed the students regarding the “Relevance of Local History”. This function discuss about the Research Methodology involved in documenting local History.110 students of our Department and few History enthusiasts participated.
